Education system unfurls new concepts these days. Gone are the days when students and teachers interacted with each other through chalk and blackboard. With technology taking upper hand, schools are bringing in new solutions for effective teaching.
To impart education in an organised framework and to retain the concepts better, Tata ClassEdge -- a digital pattern of teaching was introduced for the first time in the city. It is an interactive tool including lesson plans, assessments and other multimedia sessions where content can be taught and perceived in an effective manner. The innovative tool was launched at Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan on Wednesday. Students had an interactive session with founder and CEO of Tata Interactive Systems (TIS) Sanjaya Sharma and shared insights on the concept introduced.
Addressing to the media, he said that the system was introduced last year and is implemented in thousand schools across India. “This is the first time it is introduced in the city. Right now only private schools are introducing the new concept but with technology catching up faster, even government schools can think about implementing it soon,” he said.
Every topic will be taught with key objectives, visual effects and illustrations. Teachers can integrate the concept and incorporate their own style of teaching, while students have a better quality of understanding when taught in a digital fashion, said head, sales and marketing of TIS Rajesh Shethia. Director of the school Ch. Vasu Prakash and teachers participated.
